Look on the bright side... you have a Camp 9!
I've always loved them and I still wish I picked one up years ago.

I only shoot Winchester White Box mainly due to its price. However, I may need to start looking into something else as the price keeps going up. It's $12.88/100 at Wal-Mart now. It used to be around $10.

I think you will find all ammo priceson the rise. Mostly due to the rising cost of the metals used in manufacturing.

Here's something I forgot to mention... the salesclerk asked me if I was purchasing ammunition for a rifle or handgun (thanks to my Kel-Tec Sub-2000, I was able to say "rifle" with a straight face). Does anyone know why they feel compelled to do that? Would my answer have changed the process any? I even (politely) asked the clerk why she was asking. She didn't know!

9mm are supposed to loaded differently if shot through a rifle due to the higher pressure from the longer barrel.

i was told that they can't sell ammo to anyone under 21, but if the ammo is for use in a rifle than you only have to be 18

That's because to purchase handgun ammo you have to be 21 or over. To purchase rifle/shotgun ammo you only have to be 18. Seems silly to me, because a lot of "rifle" ammo out there is ALSO used in some handguns (especially .22's) How are any clerks supposed to know if the "rifle" ammo they are selling is actually going to be used for a handgun? They DON'T!

Agreed. And what about someone 18-21 that has a carbine, like a Beretta CX4, that uses handgun ammo like 9mm? They're allowed to buy the rifle, but not the ammo? Really stupid...
