I need reloading information for .223 using a Sierra 45gr Spitzer bullet with Hodgden H335 powder.

Thanks,

There two listings one for bolt action and one for Ar-15 rifles.

In a bolt action for the .223 with a Sierra #1310 .224 45 Gr. SPT:

COAL 2.240
listing starts at 24.8 gr of H335 and and goes up to 28.3

In an AR
it runs from 25.6 to 27.7 of H335

Thanks rwilson452.

That's exactly the information I was looking for.

I posted this on other forums and got close to this info, but from other books.
This is the one I will rely on.

As much as I shoot Sierra bullets i guess I should break down and buy their manual.

This load I'll be shooting out of a Ruger M77 MarkII Rifle for accuracy.
I guess 26.5 wouldn't be a bad place to start.
We all know Rugers are over built.

I just quoted the book. What you do with the information is up to you and your responsibility.

BTW Sierra I think has this stuff on line.

They also have the manual and ballisitics in software form. It's called Infinity Suite.
