    Exclamation Primers Are Available

I am on just about every mailing list gun-related, so primers are out there if you happen to be looking.

    Wideners

Other places also had them yesterday, but Midway is a place I try and avoid for most everything (lots of reasons), but since they "drop ship" either primers or powder (I forget which) you wind up paying 2 hazmat fees if you combine powder/primers, which most reloaders do so as to leverage down the hazmat expense over a large order. Some guys will even do a "group buy" sort of thing and max out the hazmat ticket (50 lbs powder).

In any case, I am still on primers I paid $100 per 5K, so have at it men!

MidwayUSA is also discounting certain primer brands, but you'll still have to pay shipping and the $27.50 HAZMAT fee to get them

I have never had trouble finding primers even when powders were scarce.

I had not even realized that was something people were having problems with.

Try King Shooting Supply in King of Prussia. I have never been there where I could not buy a box of 5000.

+1 must not have effected south east Pa. All local gun shops had plenty of primers except for federal but they are coming back. Still at $30 a thousand +/- a couple bucks

Even up here in the boonies, primers are easy to come by. No problems here. If you want them in bulk though, online is probably the way to go. Every time I drive past the gun shop I pick up a couple hundred to start building up a stock.

"primers" aren't hard to find... Federal Small Pistol which a lot of people need when they get trigger work done. Also Winchester small rifle were hard to get for a while as well.. The 38stupid shooters use those in their guns.

1911 style don't really have that problem..

Getting a 100 or a 1000 at a time wasn't so bad.. But when you normally only purchased 5-10k at a time... they were hard to get when stores limited you on quantity.

I've never seen wolf brand primers around locally.. Need to try some and see if my guns can use them.
The problem with shooting Chinese bullets is 15 minutes later you wanna shoot again.

I was at Cabellas and bought a pistol late last year.. they didn't have ANY 9mm on the shelf, but primers, had an entire aisle of them.... but you have to beg the to unlock the case and get them out for you.

Other than loaded rounds I've not had much issue getting any components for the last few years.

Not sure what all the fuss is about.

I use Winchester Small Pistol in my .38s so don't generalize too much.
