This is the first time I ever tried anything above 69gr in .223 and I never had this happen before. I thought I'd run into this problem if I had 77gr+.
I have a box of 75gr Hornady HP that I wanted to try out and I loaded them up with 22.0 gr of AA2230. The max OAL in the book says 2.39 and I have these at 2.38. Is there a way out of this other than loading them one at a time?

I have two boxes of Hornady TAP 75 gr and the COL is 2.236 compared to 55gr Vmax that the COL is 2.232. I also looked on reloadersnet and have seen the 75gr bullets COL at 2.255. I am going to send you the link, so you can see what others have used in their 75gr loads.
