I don't shoot a lot of 9mm but about 3 years ago, I saw that Dick's was running a coupon special. (Dick's wasn't the evil store it is now. They were selling ARs back then.) Sale price was $9.99 a box and with the coupon, if you bought 10 boxes, it was $7.99 a box . I used 4 or 5 coupons over a couple of months. It put a crimp in my budget for a while but I stocked up and put them away in ammo cans. I replaced most of what I shot after that and now I have a comfortable stockpile. I'm not a hoarder. I didn't buy a lot when there was a supply shortage. It's very similar to saving your money for a rainy day.

Welcome to the stupid hoarders club.

I've been hoarding or buying ammo- 223 & 9mm for quite a few years and because of the current shortage I have sold both calibers to my friends for low ball prices and also sold a quantity of 9mm & .22 lr to one of my favorite Gun shops in Lancaster due to them not being able to get ammo from their suppliers and I still have enough to get me by for awhile. I feel I can always buy more ammo sometime down the Pike when all settles down in the future. jmop

I just think it's funny that we are all up in arms about the government limiting how much ammo we can buy, but stores are already doing it to us because of mass hysteria, hoarding, and panic buying.

The difference between is one person has the money to stockpile, and the other person has some/no/little money to buy for stockpiling.

Yep. sounding more like words from "99 percenters" of Occupy movement.

I think hoarding means that your own quality of life and relationships suffer. Has nothing to do with inhibiting other hoarders, I mean stockpilers

If you have it, it is a stockpile. If someone else has it, it is a hoard.
