Hmmmm, thats twice as much as the (newer) Wolf 223 55gn. Is it twice as good? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I'm serious, what is the true benefit of this ammo over Wolf (besides the reload ability). what kind of performance increase could I expect for spending twice as much? Educate me

To get a comparable round made overseas, you would have to purchase Serbian Privi Partizan which costs about the same as the Lake City. I do buy Wolf ammunition but have had mixed results with it. When ever we get together to blow some rounds down range my choice would be the less expensive Wolf. For having good quality ammo stockpiled, i will always choose the Lake City above most other brands. |
