Went to my store in Hilltown, prices went up the first of the year they told me. Federal Bulk pack .22 lr. went up from 9.97 to 11.98. I don't remember the prices of the .40 S&W but it was about $6.00 more expensive than it was for the bulk pack. Somewhere around $28.00 or so.
Can't believe the jump in price. The guy behind the counter told me that bulk packs of shot shells went up around $8.00 or so. Unbelievable!!

The two near my house both do, but one has a much better display and selection.

they have it back in sporting goods behind the counter. At the West mifflin (the BIG one behing century square) if you go up to the counter in the back right hand corner of the store go left around the counter where there is a small counter and air-guns behind glass. From there look to your right, it is a glass locked cabnet.

Thanks Shawn, i will check it out. I looked behind the main counter back there, but not to the side counter. Must have missed it. Come to think of it, i missed the air guns, no wonder I missed the ammo.

Ouch

As much as those prices stink, thanks EM for taking the time to do another ammo recon at Wal-Mart!

I bought a case of 9mm at Dick's the last time they had a sale, which I think was actually the last time they ran the sale on ammo, but now I wish I would've picked up 2 or more cases at the time. So much for wanting to get an M&P 40c. Well, I'll probably still get it anyway, just won't shoot it as much as my 9mm.
