What is considered a good price on this?

Most bulk can be bought at around $.10 per round.. I am willing to pay up to 15 cents per round if necessary.

J & G sales always seems to have a ton.

I looked at them... shipping is killer. over 50 bucks for three tins!! Any good gun shops around central PA? I would rather drive and see the sights than pay 50 bucks to have it shipped to my door... I dont think I would spend 50 bucks in gas driving my Ford Escort around.

Aimsurplus has some.
Their shipping cost isn't too bad, I think it was around $15.00 to ship a case of 7.62X25 that weighed around 35 pounds. 440 round can $69.95, 2 or more $66.95 each. Steel case Berdan primed. http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/New_Ammunition_.html If you buy one can, it works out to around 15¢ per round before shipping, or closer to 18¢ per round including shipping. 2 or more cans will get you a better deal on shipping as well as a slightly lower initial price. Hope this helps. |

Ammoman has it linked for 500 - 99$ or 5000 - 890$ the latter works out to be about 17.8 cents per round and that is the shipped price. http://www.ammoman.com/index.htm
I haven't seen much else out there. But from time to time if you watch some of the other boards there haven been private sales. a guy on 1919forum just dumped 7k of it for the equivalant of 10 cents a round. Keep your eyes open. Cheers, josh
