Guys, anyone walking downtown Pittsburgh be extra careful. I live downtown
on Penn Ave. and its been very quiet all summer until the last few days. The
apts I live at has had 2 tenants robbed.

1st 2 GGs walking and 1 GG tackled from behind and had his neck slashed.
Other GG fought off BG slashing his friend and got cut/injured himself, (cut
his chest), it happened tonight. I just left their apt.

2nd GG entering building had gun pointed to back of his neck and he handed
over all he had and still got injured badly.

Also there is a very upscale club across the street and there have been multiple
robberies and a carjacking over the last week. Police are trying to patrol
heavily according to the valet there i know.

I think they are transient parasites as this area is close to the bus station,
just a hunch. Last year had alot of robberies and this year was very quiet
until 4 days ago.

I never felt the need to start carrying until I started working Downtown. Not even in Oakland when I worked nights.

My apts are 99% liberals (this is the Culural District) and I always tell people
to CC if they can. Well of course behind my back they started calling me a
"gun nut" etc. This news will travel fast thru the tenenats here and I am
drooling to run into them one by one and say "told you so you idiots".
You dont know how MUCH I WILL ENJOY the next few days!!! There is a
big party on the rooftop deck tonight and I wouldnt miss it for the world.
