Default Allegheny River Arsenal

Went there today to get a stuck case removed. Done in 5 minutes.

Heard from the gunsmith they might be folding due to the owner's age and health problems.

They have a LOT of Mausers and 1917 Springfields, bayonets, US Krags, SKS, Mosin-Nagant, etc. They also had this weird AR pattern 22LR gun with triangular foregrips and triangular flash hider. Looked like a prototype.

Anyone interested in a gun? Or a gun store?

I'm heading back to look through their pile. Although I am afraid this might lead to Yet Another Caliber.

i have had good experiences with allegheny arsenal except trying to get them to do a transfer for an AR15 i bought online. they wouldn't do it.

but, the people are friendly and, although it is not a large shop, they have some interesting stuff there.

If ya mean the one in Verona then yes I do like that place. Lots of older rifles and stuff to sort thru.
