Any local shops carry SAIGA Rifles?

I am looking to get a SAIGA in 7.62 but I can't find a local dealer that can get them. I don't like odering a gun online if I can't at least put my hands on one first.

I called Gander Mtn, Dicks, Reddings HArdware, Freedom Armory. None carry SAIGAs, nor can they order them.

you might try dunhams in hanover,if i'm not mistaken they had some of those a while back.did you try taylors trading post in biglerville?

Taylor closes early on Wednesdays so I had not. I did call Taylors after work last night though, and he seems to think he has a couple in stock. He couldn't quote me a price because he was making dinner (gotta love a basement gunshop). So I'll probably stop out next week and see what he has. Hopefully he can mimick the prices I have been seeing on the net.


The last time I called Dunhams they had never heard of Saigas. It was about 5 months ago and I was calling about a Saiga 12, though. Most plases I called thought I meant to say Sako. The one place said "you mean Tikka?"

It surpises me that gun shops are not aware of this brand.

I've seen them at Laymans gun Shop. In East Prospect (york county).
Give them a call, I know they can get them (if they don't have them now).
