Actually, I'm looking at an UltiMAK ad, from the most recent Shotgun News "Best of" compilation, and in the ad, it
SHOWS an AK, with a red dot mounted on their rail & over the gas tube, basically! Again, the 1x nature of Aimpoints, S.P.O.T.s, et.al., is that it DOES allow you to mount THAT far
forward, if you like. Being nearsighted, even though
corrected to 20/20, I like
MY Red Dots a
little bit
closer, but to each his own.
