The Europe that your forefathers left is not the Europe that exists today. It is much easier for people to make ends meet in that nation. I don't think its sad that more people want t imitate the European model. I think its sad that there is so much economic inequality in the U.S. Not everyone had the same opportunities in life.

So the basic concepts of american life makes you sad? America has opportunities for everyone that wants to work hard for it, not to be handed out by the government.
