Where the heck did you get this idea from? There are many PAFOA members living in NL. I know many other people in NL, yuppies and non-yuppies, blacks, whites, yellows, who own and/or carry guns. I even know that there are some who own/carry guns for their protection illegally, but who otherwise law abiding (spare me the lecture about this point). No one in NL is under ANY illusion that shit like this don't go down in the neighborhood. We had murders, rapes, robberies, beatings, not as high frequencies as other neighborhood, but EVERYONE here knows about it and take precautions their own ways. While our neighborhood didn't expect a double homicide in an upscale apartment building, NO ONE here ever thought that our "little area is immune to this shit". Your statement is rash, unmeasured, and untrue.
