They have worked with people like Barbara Boxer in the past on a bill allowing airline pilots to be armed. So its not unusual, even on a state level. And the Governor of Philadelphia did say he plans to make gun control a priority this fall.

Rendell has made gun control a priority for years...even when mayor of Philadelphia.
However, he is not to be trusted at all. He was one of the architects of those lawsuits against gun manufacturers. He is not anti-crime...he is anti-rights.
