Marlin 880SQ review
I picked up a slightly used Marlin 880SQ from Seneca Arms 2 weeks ago. I just got it back from The Handgunner in Topton. I had Randy thread the barrel and add a thread protector for my suppressor. The 880 is a fine shooting 22LR. I had a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5x14 Mil Dot scope and BKL mounts. The 880 is a few inches longer compared to the 10/22. Once I sighted in the scope, it was easy to put 5 rounds into one hole at 50 yards. The ammo that shot the best was the Aguila SE subsonic. Wolf Match Target also shot very well in this rifle. I was actually getting better groups with the suppressor, compared to shooting the rifle without the suppressor.
If you get the opportunity to shoot an 880 or purchase one...I'd highly recommend this rifle. I will be using mine for small game hunting this upcoming season.
