I would opt for the wood handguard, more original looking.

If you are going to deal with Impact Guns, I have visited their Boise, ID store and talked with them at length. I was impressed with the store and how I saw them treat customers. Their main store (and I think where the internet sales are from) is Ogden, UT. I had a friend order a Walther from them (I did the transfer) and he was very satisfied with his dealings with them.
