Default Re: How much is this once fired brass worth?

I have used the USPS flat rate box to ship brass. If you just dump the brass in the box you can get over 3500 of 9mm in one of those. I also used delivery confirmation.

Printing the lables online and the confirmation was free last year as you were notified via E mail. I bought sticky lables that worked out to be $.45 ea. so it was a .05 savings. I shipped a lot of .40 and 9mm brass.

If you sell online, such as on eBay, Auctionarms, Gunbroker etc.., you will most likely have to ship the brass. (Not too many FTF deals with an online auction). Even if you sell to someone on this forum, distance can be overcome fairly cheaply. USPS can be very econimical if you use the Flat Rate Envelope ($4.05) or Flat Rate Box ($8.10) to ship all you can fit in the envelope or box, up to 70 pounds, anywhere in the United States. I also reccommend using delivery confirmation, it's 50 cents and you have verification that the package has been delivered. (Postage rates will change in a few weeks).
Hope this helps.
