Default Re: Selling a pistol to a New York resident?

Pick a NY FFL call them and see if they will do the transfer. They take care of the instant check. Your buyer must then go to his local licensing department and buy a $10 purchase document. When he takes the purchase document to the FFL and passes the instant check he will take possession of the pistol. Then he must bring the pistol to the local licensing office to be inspected and registered to his license and have his license ammended to reflect the make, model, caliber and serial number (another $10). What county in New York are you selling to?

Jeep Wranglers are for Cheerleaders, Grand Cherokees are for Soccer Moms, real men drive Cherokees. Why? Because it gets 12 miles to the gallon and has the aerodynamic properties of a toaster.
