Absolutely.. First, I doubt the sheriff can undo his action at this late date. He probably already wrote it up.
Second, it sets up case law that it is not permissible to revoke specifically for open carry.
While we know that open carry is legal (not in a vehicle or in Philly without a licence) we do not (or I have yet to see) case law that indicates that it alone isn't cause for revocation
This will give us that case, which means, every sheriff that issues a pamphlet about open carry is going to get a copy of this case and it should stop the practice since it would clearly be a case of corruption to distribute such a pamphlet..
If they continue after the case is found in our (her) favor we can pursue a writ to cease the practice..
