Hobson Lyle McKown, of 592 Pierson Drive, Ferguson Township, was due in court to face summary charges of harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct at 4 p.m. Tuesday, but in the hours leading up to the hearing, his strange behavior led court staff to think he was armed, according to court documents.

The guy sounds like a loose cannon... if I'm already due in court to face charges, there's no way I'm bringing a weapon to the building to "bust chops" (my term, since he called ahead of time and they said don't do it) that they don't have lockers and are therefore technically not within statute.
And then on top of that, to have illegal drugs in his apartment? Well, maybe that won't hold up, if they went to his apartment to look for more weapons, but again, that's just a technicality, and even if he can't be charged with it, the drugs were there nonetheless.
Support of members who are being unjustly persecuted is one thing... encouraging this type of errant behavior is another.
The point will soon be moot anyway... he's going to wind up forbidden to own firearms at all, let alone carry them.
Sorry, but the boy's on his own, in my mind.
