Tape on a gun, good or bad?
I have an Over under shotgun/.22mag. The bottom plate comes off sometimes and it use to be taped up. I recently took the tape off, and it was a bit rusty under the tape. I still have problems with the bottom wood plate coming off. I want to tape it back up, but should I wrap it with something first? I want to try to protect the metal. Should I just replace it after a few months? I was thinking that camo duck tape, is that a good idea?
