The second amendment guarantees the constitution and all other amendments. Not lawyers. That's all anybody really needs to understand.

Truth be told, I didn't really understand that until I went up to the Dickson City council meeting. When the city council president said that "we made her uncomfortable" it finally sunk in for me. Anybody that was there had to have some sense of pride for our forefathers at that point. They purposefully put the 2nd amendment in there to give the citizens of this Republic the ability to remind the "government" who is in charge. The government is not in charge. We are. And we have the constitutional ability to remove them from their jobs at any time.

For those that weren't there, imagine a group of about 20+ people open carrying firearms into a small town city council meeting in a building that also houses the police department. All, to speak and protest about the fact that several of our fellow Pennsylvania citizens were harassed and had their civil liberties violated only a few days earlier.
