Thats what I've heard, but never seen. If the extractor will slip over the rim while the cartridge is chambered, there must be sufficient clearance for it to do so. If that is in fact the case, where is the danger of extractor damage coming from? I'm not trying to be argumentative, just wondering what takes place when doing this, that will in fact cause damage? Bill T.
