When I applied for my Maine non-resident I had to fill out somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 pages of paper work, this included a background check and 2 authority to release info forms. In addition I had to send in a copy of a certificate that I passed an NRA gun safety class, send in pictures, my left arm and first born…. You get the point.
When Maine extends reciprocal agreements, PA will be on the end of the list.

Maine's requirements are really not that big of a deal, the training requirement and photograph being my greatest concerns. Something like 7 out of 10 pages is just Y/N questions about violating Maine or several states law (waste of paper...)
Unfortunately, I thought Maine was really eyeing us and had come to the conclusion they would offer us reciprocity. I thought it would be US who denied it. That really sucks.
