Default Re: What age?

Depending on the child, i'd say betwen 6-9yrs old.

I'll tell a story about the first time i took my then 6yr old son to the range. He had shot bb guns since 5 and he kept buggin to go to the range. I kept telling him no because he didn't like real loud noises. He didn't like fireworks so i knew a gun shot (other than a .22) would bother him. He said no dad, i can handle it. So, i took him. Don;t you know that someone was there sighting in a 7mm mag and it was loud. My son proceded to get back in the truck and tell me he was not getting out. It was another year before he started buggin to go to the range with me. Now he loves it and wants to go shooting more than i do--he is 14 now..
