I lived in Vermont for 12 years. Yes, it was nice not having to worry about a piece of paper. Left firearm in vehicle with no worries either. Also, when that vile federal "Assault weapons" bill was passed many years ago, the state chapter of the ACLU actually was against the law! The state constitution is very clear on the matter. The only problem with Vermont is lots of liberals come up fron ny, nj and try to change things. So far they have been unsuccesful. The "live and let live" attitude of liberty is still strong. Those folks learn fast.
