TO hell with th naysayers.
Ya know, I have never been real keen on open carry. Although I do agree that it should be legal, it is not something I choose to do personally. My reasons do not matter, is is a personal decision just as it is for those who choose to carry openly.
That said, as I read through the thread where PA Patriot got arrested, I must admit that it appeared to me that the group of folks who went out together open carrying were almost looking for an opportunity to be hassled.
Now read on before you chastise me I have much more to say. I first thought that it was going to end ugly and put gun rights further under scrutiny but as I read through the thread my attitude changed from a judgmental nature to an attitude of gratitude.
You see, I let "them" get to me if I am intimidated by someone exercising a freedom. Shame on me for that.
I want to thank you folks, and especially thank you, PA Patriot, for standing up for what is true, what is good, and what is just. I still feel the same about my personal decision to open carry, but I think I will thank the next person I see who is and step up to speak up for them if they are questioned. So thank you for opening the eyes of those officers, and opening mine as well.
My right to CC is directly related and contingent upon the right to OC and vise-versa. I'll never forget that again
