I agree with elston...

There is a problem here though. It is a problem with our whole society. The policing and criminal justice system in this country are ineffective. In every corner of this country (country, urban and suburban) there is crime. We have the highest per capita incarceration rates of the industrialized world. When you have that criminals are released early due to overpopulation. The majority of those criminals are for controlled substances. How about letting people who want to ruin there lives do it. The cost of prisons is astronomical. Police are forced to spend countless hours dealing with petty drug offenders. Look at Prohibition. Take away the illegal aspect of drugs and you would rob most high crime areas of there main source of profit.....
Sorry about the rant. Im just sick of hearing about cops vs privet citizens. In all cases they are human. We do not know how we would react in a similar situation cause we were not there...OK rambling rant over...
