Default Re: "Excuse me, your gun is showing!"

I heard FL is also anal about a gun slightly showing or printing. Good thing though, is you can transport on a FL permit , then OC, in PA, VA, and other OC states. Just so long as you don't OC in FL!

As to the author of this article, he should be writing something like " all of these problems may possibly be avoided if our state allowed open carry, and if the public was more educated about people who carry for self defense. In fact open carry is one way to educate."

It's odd how so much of the general public seems to have never heard of people carrying concealed legally. I had heard of it, and I was not raised around guns at all, and when I heard of it, it was early 1990's when there were still few states with shall-issue, not to mention I heard of it living in MD! Had I seen a "normal" looking person get their coat blown open revealing a holstered handgun, I'd have thought " oh must be an off duty cop", or "oh must be some guy with a concealed permit". Similar thoughts would have been with OC- "oh must be a police detective or something".
