And yes whoever called the police last night should be ashamed of themselves for acting so irrational. I wonder if they stated false things to the 911 operator? How can it possibly be that a group of people acting peacefully with spouses and children be construed as a threat? Why didn't they just come up to one of you and ask what it is all about? Are they such a mental case hoplophobe they couldn't ask one of you, or better yet ask the restaurant manager?

From reading about VA open carry, it seems they have more problems with restaurant managers and owners than the general public, or if a patron calls the cops, the manager or owner sides with the complaintant.

Well if a legal fund is set up for this, count me in for some money. Go pound em!
