people who are scared of guns are ignorant, just like racists that are simply scared of minorities, so they turn it into uneducated hatred. Minorities are nothing to be scared of, most people who feel this way, once they have spent time with people of minority, realize they are just like us, the same as people who are scared of guns, once they handle a gun and see how safely they can be handled, realize its nothing to be living in fear of.

Point being, most racists are uneducated and close minded, and never come in contact with people of minority, they just spat epitaphs at them from across the train tracks.

Just like most people who are anti-gun have never even seen a gun in real life, just news reports about gang members shooting eachother; and it scares them. I have had many friends/acquaintances who were somewhat anti-gun but once we took them out and showed them how seriously we took safety, they realized there was no reason to be fearful of good people owning guns.
