A few months ago I picked up a 700 SPS Varmint in .223 with a 4-12 scope mounted on it that was on sale. Got the whole package for under 600.00, tax and all. I couldn't pass it up. I'm very pleased with it and can't wait to zero in on some Whistle Piggies. Even with a 1 in 12 twist it handles the 62gr and 77grs bullets very well out to 200 + yds.
