I think both the game commision and the prison are happy not many people know about it. I have a friend who is a guard at the prison and I asked him about all the pistol shooting I kept hearing over there. He said they have to go over and shoot every month. I said well I hear them even when its raining and he said if its raining they are told put on their rain gear. Then I said well how come I never find any brass on the ground. He told me the responsible for every shell they fire. If I remember correctly don't think its a very long range 100yd. at most. I do remember some type of pavilion being there though.
