Default Re: Glock 17 - Should I or Should I not? Question for Glockers...

My Glock G21 and G19 both passed the "Salt Spray Test" year after year.

I fish in Cedar Key Florida during the winter. I fish from the banks and from the boat. My G19 and G21 have both been saturated with salt water for periods of 12-14 hours at a time. I dont take them off when I plan on getting wet....they are tools meant to be used in these conditions.

Every night they are cleaned with fresh water and re-lubed. Ammo is shot up at the end of the 2 week trips.

Never had a malf, never had rust, no problems of any kind.

And I have yet to have a round fail that was drenched with salt water.

They pass my test.

For proof, email me and I will book you a spot on next winters trip. Red fishin is awesome!
