The size of the excel file will be driven by the size of the pictures. It won;t be any larger or smaller than any other program that incorporates pictures unless that program shrinks or compresses the file. FYI: I'm a Excel guru. I do things in excel that most "experts" didn't know excel could do. Hence my screen name
I personally would do it in excel but then again I know how to program VBA like a mad dog
