Perhaps this is well known by all but myself, but I just learned about this.

According to this website (and a few others) with either your Active Military ID or your DD-214, you can apply for a non-resident Florida Carry Permit without having to take the training class and other pre-requisites.

As we know a Florida Permit is good in 27 states for concealed carry of a firearm and good in Florida for concealment of any deadly weapon (i.e. knife, baton, stun gun).
