Default Re: Stinger Pen Gun

Hi. New to this forum, just found it.

I found a Braverman Stinger in .22LR at a local shop about a decade ago, NIB for $125. At the same store, I found a .22 magnum barrel for it, which I now kick myself for not grabbing.

It is definitely a weapon of last defense. To be used when your attacker has his hands around your throat, you pull out the Stinger, pop it open and shove it up your attackers' nose. Let the .22 bounce around inside his skull a bit.

You definitely cannot aim it. It does, however, do very nicley if you use the 'shoot from the hip' finger-point method. I found that I can hit a standard sheet of paper at 7 yards every time.

It is not ATF restricted because it has to be 'opened' 80 degrees to be fired.
