I think the XD trigger is typical of service pistols (aside from 1911s), relatively long pretravel, slight creep (that gets better with age like a fine wine

) and then it breaks clean with a little overtravel.
I've never shot a Glock though. My natural presentation is like punching with a fist, pretty much a natural familiar movement and doing that with a Glock for me is aiming at the ceiling. Just the way my hands work. I'll add though that I imagine the Glock grip angle makes it easier to lock the wrists for easier recoil control? Each type has something to recommend it I guess.
