Trust me. I have pointed out some of the faults that I have witnessed with Glocks. And I have paid dearly for it by numerous people on this site. I have sworn off talking badly about them ever again. So, it isn't just the XD crowd that can be defensive. Trust me on this one. Gun Owners take pride in thier weapons.
I can honestly say I have never seen a XD FTF or FTE or not feed anything it is fed ( I can't say this about a Glock. I'm not bad mouthing guys. I'm making a general statement. Please don't attack
). And this honestly amazes me. Your the first person I have ever heard bad mouth the XD. But hey, your allowed. (I'm not allowed to bad mouth Glocks though

I currently own two XD's and will be purchasing my 3rd shortly.
