I wouldn't worry about it Michele.
If someone says anything to you just whip out that accent and say
Quote:

Listen; I walk the walk and talk the talk.
|
They wont even know what hit them!
Now, in all seriousness I wouldn't expect any trouble. People just don't seem to care or notice law abiding citizens OCing. Go to the dinner,
have fun, and don't worry. Just walk out there with the confidence that you are exercising rights all but lost in your home state.
ETA: the "Little Old Lady" comment likely comes from the fact that you are now a
Grand member, or "Granny" as I like to say.
[Serious] Also, in the Lakota traditions the term "grandmother" and "grandfather" refer to anyone older than you and is an honor. To be referred to by that title means you have earned a lot of respect and it's not something I take lightly. [/serious]
