i would love to be wrong on this, as it would be a very neat project to do, and cheap too!! but i dont want to do anything to jeapordise my freedom!!

if this does not reqiure an aow stamp, im pretty sure ill have one on my "to do " list!!(in .22lr)

I belive you are incorrect. I haven't heard anything about them being reclassified. A quick search showed they were producing them at least untill 2003.
