TO MY UNDERSTANDING (which may or may not be correct) the atf had origionaly approved thi design a while back, quite a few were produced, and then they changed their minds on their ruling and determined that they were an aow, but the ones already produced were grandfathered, so you could buy a legaly grandfathered one as a pistol, but any new production guns like this would require the tax stamp.
does anyone know this FOR CERTAIN????
i would love to be wrong on this, as it would be a very neat project to do, and cheap too!! but i dont want to do anything to jeapordise my freedom!!
if this does not reqiure an aow stamp, im pretty sure ill have one on my "to do " list!!(in .22lr)
