Re: LIGHTS FOR CCW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT
Hi DaveM55.
I am new here and this thread is not that long, but in the other major forums like the THR org. and TFL I have been posting my light reviews for over a year.
I sometimes forget that in the new forums I am not yet known, so this is to remedy the situation.
I am Black Bear/Black Bear 84 in most forums and I have been for three years posting about lights and guns in several police/shooting forums.
I recently retired from watch making and having more time, I decided to post my thread of "LIGHTS FOR CCW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT" in a few more forums.
This time under the name of "watchmaker" as I had encountered other "Black Bears" and wished to avoid confusions.
The lights I review are from my own collection and I have spent several thousand dollars to acquire them, I do not have them for sale.
BUT, I am also the maker of the Borealis flashlight, which I have been making for police officers and others for three years.
Because this Borealis is a semi-custom proposition and take six hours to built with the especial components, my output is only a light per day.
If I were to advertise for the light, the demand will be more than what my output can provide. Since I am reviewing other lights in this thread, I review my own lights too, and I hope it is okay with the administration, as spending several thousand dollars in somebody elses lights and not reviewing my own, will be unthinkable.
I have many more lights to review for the benefit of the members (If I just had more time!), and I hope it will be okay to continuous to do so.
If you are interested in the Borealis, contact me, I also have a web site, but I don't want to provide a link because I am unsure about the rules of the forum.
Thank you for your consideration of the Borealis.
Best regards
Watchmaker
