From the statutes quoted above, it looks like you can use force to stop stealing but not deadly force unless it concerns your dwelling.

Note it says trying to dispossess you of your dwelling (no doubt without claim of right) or a felony will take place inside it.

Seems your tractor outside is fair game etc.

I presume you can use force escalation but you will have to start with verbal command, light physical force such as grabbing or pushing off property to fisticuffs, grappling/wrestling and physical detainment if possible. Last step would be deadly force if they threaten you in some manner. You increase the level of force necessary until they comply or desist.

IANAL but I guess that is the way it is.
