Liberal media's agenda is peaking through, If only the masses would look. In the days leading up to Ed Rendell's address before the legislative committee he was portrayed in the press a valiant warrior going into the den of enemy to DEMAND change. Now that the effort has failed, the story has changed somewhat. Now the Governor was out maneuvered by the the republicans and The evil NRA. You will notice that the article fails to mention that Rendell's argument was rejected by members of his own party on the committee. There is not one mention of the democrats who voted against this legislation.
This story is by the AP's Peter Jackson and has been parroted in many of states newspapers. Are they teaching journalism in colleges today or just propaganda dissemination.

I was more surprised that this story in The Philadelphia Inquirer was on the whole more balanced and included a link to the actual votes

Maybe there is hope for Pennsylvania. It seems on some level our politicians are listening to the will of the people and not the power elite.
