I think it's important to note that these things always seem to happen in gun-free zones. IE colleges, schools, Post offices, Wisconsin
While I have to agree with her that the use of force of all kinds by police is becoming absurd, I think that point directly supports why ordinary citizens need arms too.
Furthermore, for someone who is supposedly well written, she doesn't make arguments very well.

Too ridiculous to even comment.

Seems like the entire point of the article was to get people angried up, rather than to try to make an intelligent point of any kind. All she does is make broad generalizations and assumptions. Frankly, the only person who looks bad is her.
