I don't give much attention and credit to foreign journalists, particularly those that have issues with the basic power structure in the U.S., or at least have an anti-U.S. predisposition or bias.

Even less that don't know what they're talking about.

As long as we continue to keep their venom outside out border (and that's another story in itself...) they are irrelevant.

There are certain circles in Canada that dedicate themselves to bashing the U.S., and even U.S. nationals themselves. For those of you familiar with amateur radio, slinging crap back & forth with the Canadians has been going on for years. Sometimes it's simple innuendo (by those Canadians that fancy themselves clever) to outright indecent obscenities. Seems like the majority of them haven't gotten over the 1775-1783 Revolution.
