With the way Filthadelphia is with gun laws, you would be doing responsible gun owners (as a whole) a disfavor. Although morally I don't think anyone would argue whether or not you did the RIGHT thing, I'm sure that you would get some kind of charge. I would MUCH rather be charged with something if I were protecting my life, over being severely beaten and/or killed. But remember, avoiding the situation is the first step. Get away from them if at all possible is the first rule.

Get your carrying permit so that you don't have to worry about it.
